PARK CITY LODGING - 'PAYDAY' CONDO
Some time ago, after ten years of renting our Park City condos through a Park City lodging company, we decided to join the growing group involved in vacation rentals by owner. This has allowed us to include some personal touches, such as plants, which are frowned on by Park City lodging companies, and has also given confidence that the unit will be kept in tip-top condition under the personal supervision of our housekeeper. Additionally, we have used our Park City condo extensively ourselves, and this has led to a much higher standard of furnishing and decoration than is normally found in holiday accommodation... the sort of touches you will only find with vacation rentals by owner. You are situated only 100yds from the new Silver Star chairlift at Park City Mountain Resort, but in a nice quiet area with pleasant mountain views and right on the Park City Municipal Golf Course. Park City Mountain Resort is ranked in the top five resorts in North America by Ski Magazine, A free public transport route to the resorts and Main St runs right by the condo. Deer Valley Ski Area , now consistently ranked as the top ski resort in North America by Ski magazine, and the Canyons Ski Area are both only 3 miles away. All of these Areas have added new lifts, trails and snowmaking in recent years, and further expansion is planned. In addition, Alta and Snowbird as well as Brighton, Solitude and Robert Redford's Sundance Ski Area are 45 minutes drive away. Our Park City condo is spacious, substantially renovated in July 2006, and fully equipped. There are two ensuite bedrooms with queen beds, a third bedroom with twin beds, plus a queen sleeper sofa in the loft, giving a maximum occupancy of eight. The lounge / dining area has raised cedar ceilings, is open and spacious and has a gas fireplace. The open plan kitchen and the third bathroom adjoin this area. Facilities include a large outdoor hot tub, digital cable TV with DVD/Video player in the lounge and in one other bedroom, plus a small stereo and a washer / dryer.
Park City, is well known for it's skiing, but Summer in the mountains is also very pleasant. Summer activities include golf, hiking and biking. There are several excellent Golf Courses within 30 minutes drive and, of course, the condo is located right on the Park City Municipal Golf Course. Both Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Resort offer an extensive network of hiking and mountain biking trails for people of all abilities.
Summer weather is glorious; cool and dry and the evenings are long. Fall colours normally occur for a couple of weeks in late September and are varied and vibrant.
Another good thing about vacation rentals by owner is the savings! Rental rates for our 'Gold' rated Payday condos, are set at a 25% discount to the rates charged by commercial management companies. Our Park City condo is available year round. Off season bookings are at negotiable rates, but we would prefer a minimum stay of a week.
Nightly rates in US dollars for the coming 2007 - 2008 season are as follows:
A 50% deposit is required with all bookings and is non-refundable within 60 days of arrival. Final payment is required 45 days prior to arrival. You may cancel your booking and receive a full refund if less than 50% of the runs are open at Park City Mountain Resort seven days prior to your scheduled arrival .
